Vale Janet Jones

The club is greatly saddened to advise the passing of Janet Jones (OAM). Janet was a much loved member of the club and wider community, who possessed a deep desire to better the lives of those around her. She was a pioneer for inclusion in surf lifesaving. Her inspiration and passion as co founder of Starfish Nippers has made an immeasurable difference to so many individuals and their families, not only at Anglesea but also throughout Australia and overseas. She will be missed by all but her legacy will live on through Starfish Nippers. We are forever grateful for the immense contribution Janet has made to our great club. Our thoughts are with Janet's husband Peter, her children Lucy, Felicity and Harry, her parents Brenda and John and her sisters and their families at this very difficult time. RIP Janet.
