Basic surf swimming and board skills
-
Sustainability of the ocean environment
-
Introductory competition skills
-

Anglesea SLSC offers several streams of surf education and sport for a minimal cost. The programs are designed for children aged 6 - 13 years on 1st October who have demonstrated minimum swim proficiency standards.
The Nipper Summer intensive surf education Program is held over the two weeks following Christmas each year.
There is a strong focus on developing a sense of community and teamwork within age groups and across the program.
In addition Nippers will have the opportunity to extend themselves through informal and formal challenges and competitions.
The Nipper Summer Program concludes with an intra-Club competition (Club Champs) which is an opportunity for friendly competition in a relaxed Club atmosphere.
Nippers can continue on through the Club to complete their official Lifesaving qualifications including the Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) for Nipper aged 13-14 and the Bronze Medallion upon turning 15.
