Signing up for 2021/22
PLEASE NOTE MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS ARE OPEN.
CLUB ACCESS FOBS WILL BE DEACITIVATED 1st OCTOBER AND REACTIVATED UPON MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL.
NIPPER REGISTRATIONS FOR 2021 OPEN 1st OCTOBER 2021 AND WILL CLOSE 1st DECEMBER.
STEP 1 - Obtain Your Working With Children Check (WWCC)
ALL members aged 18 years and older must hold a WWCC (exception is Social Membership).
Many people already hold a WWCC with another organisation. If this is the case for you, you must update your WWCC by adding Anglesea SLSC and Life Saving Victoria to your list of organisations.
If you do not hold a WWCC you must apply for one.
Please read Working with Children Check information.
Membership cannot be processed without a WWCC.
As these can sometimes take some time, if you are joining for the Nipper Program we urge you not to leave it until you are ready to register for the nipper Program to organise your WWCC.
STEP 2 - Apply for Initial or Renew Existing Club Membership
Please ensure you have renewed Club memberships for EACH person who wishes to be involved.
If you are new to the Club you should complete a Membership Application for EACH member of your family taking part (including parents/guardians if Nippers).
Please see the following step by step guides to assist with your renewal, application or creating a Family Group.
Memberships will not be processed unless all requirements have been met.
If you are an existing member you can use our Renewal Service where we will take care of the administrative work for you. For an additional processing fee of $15 per individual or $30 per family, you will need to contact email@example.com with a list of your family members and we will send you a payment form and your paper renewal forms to check, sign and send back and we will take care of the online registration process for you.
Please note that any member aged 13 and over who holds awards and patrols or does water safety should create their own SLSA Member Area account. This will allow them to view their own awards and patrol/water safety hours and access the LSV Member Training Portal for course and Skills Maintenance online learning and enrolment.
STEP 3 - Pay for Membership
You will be prompted to make your payment once you have submitted your application or renewal.
If you don't pay at the time of your renewal or application, you will need to wait for us to release your request from pending before you can make your payment.
STEP 4 - Receive your Membership Confirmation
This will be emailed to you to confirm your membership has been fully processed.
Your Membership Confirmation Form will be required for:
Skills Maintenance (Requal) - Must be presented at practical requalification sessions
Nipper/Starfish Registration - must be uploaded into the online Nipper Registration Form
Course/Camp Registration - must be uploaded into the online registration page
Collect your Club access fob - if you already have a Club access fob from last season, it will be reactivated upon membership renewal.
STEP 5 - You are now an Anglesea SLSC Member for 2021/22
You can pick up your Membership Card from the Club office. As part of your membership you will get to enjoy exclusive member benefits such as discounts at Jimpy's Bar and Wyuna restaurant as well as year-round activities. See Member Benefits/Discounts for more information.
You will also receive a copy of our quarterly Green & White Broadsheet with information about events and activities over the year.

Vaccinations are required if you are involved in the club in the following capacities:
Patrolling member, club committee member, administrator, age manager, coach, official, water safety (12 yrs +), nipper parent/guardian attending program in person, training course participant (12+), course, event, nipper program helper, athletes aged 16 and over, attending LSV or club facility.
Members falling into the above categories must complete the LSV Vaccination Status Form.
