The Life Saving Victoria (LSV) Sport Calendar - 2019/2020 is now available, outlining dates and locations for the upcoming season.​

Clubhouse Redevelopment Update

A quick update on the redevelopment. Four Sq have started onsite this week with the erection of site fending around the building and they are using the male bunk rooms as the site office. The services are being relocated for the upper clubhouse to ensure operation can continue in the second building. Tile cladding will be removed early next week and the actual demolition of the building is expected in a couple of weeks. Access to the Club Office is still available and it remains open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 10am - 4pm. Captain Moonlite is still operating Thursday to Monday and bookings are highly recommended. Members are reminded that parking will be limited as the lower car

Training Officer's Certificate

Did you have a great time at Bronze Camp? Do you enjoy learning from and getting to know older members? Would you like to share you life saving experiences with younger members? If the answer to these questions is 'yes' then you are encouraged to join the ASLSLC Training team for 2019/2020. The Bronze Camp runs from the 15-17 Decembers and all Instructors must hold a Training Officers Certificate. Volunteer training changes!

LSV has recently advised clubs of changes to Volunteer training that are currently being implemented. Many of these are technical in nature and for many members there will be no discernible change. However, there are some more significant changes and members and the Club need to prepare for the 2019/2020 season appropriately. Winter Development Squad

Life Saving Victoria is seeking expressions of interest from athletes interested in eighteenths involved in the upcoming 2019 Victorian Winter Development Squad (WDS). The Victorian WDS is open to any athletes in the Un 12, Un 13, Un 14 or Un 15 age groups for the 2019/20 season who are interested in training during the off season. The squad provides an excellent opportunity for athletes to develop their skills, train with other athletes throughout the state and be coached by a number of quality coaches from various clubs. Sunshine Coast Training Camps

Want to improve your skills in the surf, learn technique and advice from the best and kick start your training in the warmth and waves of the Sunshine Coast?
