Vale - John Graham Worrell

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we advise club members that life member, club patron and past president John Graham Worrell has sadly passed away aged 91. Our deepest sympathies are extended to Joan his beloved wife and their wider family. John was awarded an Order of Australia for service to sport in June 2017 and was also the proud recipient of. Surf Life Saving Australia's 60 year service award in 2012. He dedicated over 67 years to surf life saving, holding countless roles. Most recently he entertained members at the Farewell Party where he shared stories of his time and memories of the club. Few people provide the service to the community that John has and he will be sadly missed

Anglesea Supporters Group Annual Aussies Dinner!

Thanks to the ongoing and generous support of the Anglesea Supporters group the Anglesea Aussies team was able to come together and enjoy dinner on the Gold Coast during the recent Aussies. With over 10,000 competitors at Aussies it can be difficult for the various sections of the team to get around to each area of the beach to support and watch each other so this dinner is invaluable in bringing the team together. See of the supporters group are pictured below and Naantali Marshall popped by to say thanks!
