Eco Tourism Project!
ALCOA and an international environmental charity are holding community consultation sessions next week about plans for a world-class eco-tourism project at the Anglesea mine site.
This was announced yesterday by G21. G21 - Geelong Region Alliance is the formal alliance of government, business and community organisations working together to improve the lives of people within the Geelong region including the Surf Coast.
Following an approach from Alcoa, The Eden Project, most famous for the Cornwall Eden Project, has come up with an elemental concept for the site, which will focus on earth, wind, fire and water.
