We are looking for flexible, enthusiastic, hardworking individuals to fulfil newly created Duty Manager positions at the Club. Hours will vary each week and duties will be also be diverse. Active members are advised that Skills Maintenance is now up and running. The online components are ready to complete and for our metro members there are practical sessions running at LSV at the moment. It would be good to get as many members through this as possible now to reduce the numbers closer to the start of the season. This year we had to cancel our Annual Golf Day - the first time we have missed for well over fifty years. Not only did we miss the opportunity for our members and associates to meet after winter to enjoy each other's company, the club has missed vital funds which are usually raised fro the day. The club is excited to provide some personal development for the Patrol Leaders in the areas of - youth mental health and resilience - team building - leadership - COVID protocols. This is possible through the support of the Surf Coast Shire COVID 19 Recovery grants and the club would like to thank the council for their support. The PD will commence later this month and the club is working with our very own club member Sally Cumming who is the Director of Engage Health which is a leading provider of mindfulness and psychological resilience. We will also be engaging Bianca Chatfield who is a past Australian Diamond Netballer, Captain of the Melbourne Vixens and well known leadership coach. T

To support operational members currently under the heaviest restrictions and unable to access their clubs, the state office team have put on a schedule of 40 new award / skills maintenance sessions to be delivered in the four weeks of October. The sessions are available at no cost to operational members and delivered out of the LSV State Office with the support of the public training, supply chain and people teams.
