Anglesea Surf Life Saving Club is situated on Victoria's Great Ocean Road, with more than 1,500 members and a Restaurant/Bar/Cafe that seats 120 patrons overlooking one of the Surf Coast's most spectacular views. A substantial rebuild scheduled to be completed in July-August 2020 will provide additional opportunity to offer new and expanded food and beverage services in training rooms and spaces capable of accommodating up to 250 people along with a potential kiosk.
Anglesea Surf Life Saving Club’s Directors are seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from experienced contract caterers to serve members and guests. The Restaurant/Bar/Cafe is currently open 7 days per week and functions are catered for as required.
Expectations of suitable applicants include (but are not limited to):
Provide quality meals and beverages at competitive prices that appeal to members and visitors.
Ability to operate both the restaurant and bar.
Review and update menus consistently with seasons and customers’ demands.
Provision of consistent, outstanding customer service.
Experienced and well-trained staff in all aspects of food preparation, presentation and service.
Maintaining exceptional levels of cleanliness.
Be fully conversant with relevant legislation relating to licensing, food service, hygiene, and employment conditions, including WHS compliance and insurance.
Your Expression of Interest should include:
A cover letter explaining your reasons for applying for the contract.
Details of past and current catering experiences, including references.
Details of appropriate qualifications, including RSA & Food Handling Certificate.
Samples of bar and food concepts including menus and pricing and including Function Menus.
The club is prepared to negotiate an attractive annual occupation/service fee.
