What an outstanding week of competition on the Gold Coast, with Team Anglesea once again showcasing incredible commitment, resilience, and true club spirit across every arena of surf sports. From our youth athletes stepping confidently onto the national stage, to our Masters competitors proving that experience and determination remain invaluable, and our adaptive and open athletes delivering exceptional performances, Anglesea was proudly represented in every discipline.
Competitors were also met with challenging conditions throughout the week, with strong ocean sweep and challenging surf testing athletes and officials alike. The ever-changing conditions required organisers to regularly adjust the program to ensure events could be conducted safely, adding another layer of difficulty that our athletes handled with impressive composure and resilience.
