Two incredible contributors from our membership is these two ladies who were awarded the very deserving Service to Club Culture Award:
Nina Pollard - Director of Administration
& Bella Haigh for her all round contribution
There are many and diverse roles for our volunteers at the Club but these young people are fixtures around the Club, always lending a helping hand & keeping their parents amused while they are patrolling:
Ted & Maggie Tennant and Alice and Erica Carabott

And the reason we do everything we do and our core purpose: to keep our beaches safe is only possible because of our tireless volunteer patrollers - these members were awarded:
Service to Volunteer Patrols - Baxter Yockins
ASLSC Lifeguard of the Year - Matilda McIntyre
Most Outstanding Patrol Team of the Year - Patrol 1
And the night would not have been complete without acknowledging the efforts of our competitors selected to compete in the Victorian Team at Aussies. A stand out was the presentation to Louis D'Andrea who took out 4 Gold Medals at this years Aussies.

I was chatting with a mate from work during our break and he showed me a funny slot game he was playing on his phone. The characters were exaggerated bodybuilders which made us laugh. I asked him for the site name so I could try it at home. Mindil Beach Casino has a humorous approach to their game selection that makes the experience more lighthearted. I enjoyed the "Gym Heroes" slot which had funny bonus rounds involving lifting weights. It’s a fun distraction from the serious side of gambling. The mobile site is very responsive and the games load quickly. I played for an hour and had a few good laughs, which is worth something in itself.
