  • Standard operating procedures

Club activities All activities as advised previously except patrol should cease. Club meetings All club meetings must now be held via phone or video conferencing. Volunteer training All face to face training should cease. Lifesaving patrols 2020 Lifesaving patrols to continue for the remainder of the 2019-2020 season, without flags and under certain conditions. Lifesaver 30 (LSV’s helicopter) will still patrol as normal as will all Marine Search and Rescue (MSAR). LSV is defined as a support agency under the Emergency Management Manual of Victoria. Patrols will however be adapted to ensure our members’ health and safety is our highest priority. Additional protective measures have been taken to reduce exposure whilst also meeting our responsibilities to provide water safety at the beaches across the state. Observational patrols – remain
