Vale - Ken Sutherland

It is with great sadness that we info club members of the passing of Ken Sutherland.

Ken Sutherland joined the Club in the early '50s, bringing with him his knowledge and experience from his earlier membership of the Currumbin SLS Club.

This knowledge was instrumental in Anglesea winning their first major event, namely the R&R at the 1956 Torquay carnival.

Ken, well respected by all who knew him, sadly passed away in Sydney on 16th January this year, following a brief illness.

Our thoughts are with the Sutherland family at this sad time.
