We're hiring! Marketing & Events Officer
New full-time employment opportunity (12 month contract)
The Marketing and Events Officer is a newly created, full-time 12-month contract position (with view to extend), reporting to the Marketing Director.
Located in our clubhouse on the Great Ocean Road, you’ll have one of the best office views in Australia!
Key responsibilities include:
Managing all marketing and communications activities for the Club
Developing social media and website content to support the Club’s programs and events
Overseeing production of the quarterly newsletter
Managing the Club’s grants and sponsorship programs
Assisting in the planning and delivery of events, including Rock2Ramp, the Golf Day and Door Knock
To be successful in this role, you’ll be tertiary qualified, ideally within sports, marketing or communications. You’ll be energetic and self-motivated, with the ability to rapidly develop relationships while managing multiple priorities.
Other qualities we’re looking for include:
Minimum three years’ experience in a marketing, sponsorship or events management role
Excellent communication skills
The ability to use initiative, meet tight timeframes and work with limited supervision
Passionate about community initiatives
Awareness of the lifesaving/sporting club environment
Experience working with volunteers.
