Management of swimmer safety at this year's Rock 2 Ramp

Anglesea Surf Life Saving Club is proud it has run 22 Rock 2 Ramp swims involving around 1,000 swimmers each year without serious injury or loss of life.

Following heightened media and community concern that we share our beaches with marine life including sharks, Anglesea Surf Life Saving Club has reviewed existing safety protocols and practices in conjunction with Life Saving Victoria.

Following this review, additional monitoring of the race course and surrounds will be in place to supplement existing management processes that conform with Life Saving Victoria protocols to ensure our safety record remains intact.

We look forward to welcoming all swimmers on the start line and will take appropriate actions if and when they may be required.
