An overview of the role follows below. POSITION OBJECTIVES: Responsible for identifying funding opportunities for projects and priorities. Important Changes - Patrol Sign Up

This season has seen the introduction of electronic patrol signup. The uptake of this resource has been fantastic with every patrol from the beginning of December to the end of January being booked out. This is an increase in member participation from previous years that saw only boxing day until the first week of January being full patrols. Please don’t forget that we will continue to patrol Anglesea main beach right up until the end of Easter school holidays. Car park safety lighting

In response to community concerns over public safety due to poor lighting in the Ray Marsh Room car park, Anglesea Surf Life Saving Club has applied for and received a grant to install safety lights. Lighting solutions investigated: 4.5m high galvanised metal poles (traditional street lights) x 3 (LED light source). Low rise (1.5 meter) poles that are aesthetically designed to blend in to the surrounds and minimise glare x 6 (LED light source).
