Advance Resuscitation Techniques (ART)
Description
Advanced Resuscitation aims to provide participants with the necessary skills, knowledge and applications to use advanced resuscitation techniques. It is specifically designed for individuals wishing to safely administer oxygen by facemask or mechanical resuscitators to a breathing or non-breathing casualty.
This course includes: CPR (HLTAID009) and Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy (HLTAID015).

Prior to the commencement of the course participants must complete their Life Saving Victoria course enrolment:

Look for Advance Resuscitation Techniques at Anglesea SLSC and click 'Enrol'
Pre-Requisites

Must be a financial Club member prior to course registration (a Membership Confirmation Form must be uploaded into the online Advanced Resuscitation Techniques registration platform).

Must be at least 15 years and of age on the date of the final assessment.
Skills Maintenance
The Advances Resuscitation Techniques award is valid for 3 years, after which the course must be completed in full again.
Assessment
Participants will be required to complete activities that may include role plays, oral and written questioning, practical demonstrations and performing scenarios. This will take place on the final day of the course.
