Rock2Ramp Ocean Swim is conducted at Point Roadknight beach, Anglesea in late
December each year by the Anglesea Surf Lifesaving Club.
Rock2Ramp Ocean Swim consists of three events:

2015 Race Report:
21st Rock2Ramp Swim at Point Roadknight beach, Anglesea was held in
perfect conditions on the 28th December 2015 – bright sunshine, 25
degrees and only a small swell. These were almost perfect conditions for the
popular 2.5km swim was won by Sam Sheppard and Zoe Whitfield, in both cases
just heading home last year’s winners in Matt Gilling and Lisandra De Cavalho.

were plenty of very familiar names across the various age catefories and
celebrating the Rock2Ramp’s participation in the Global Swim Series there were
entrants from all states of Australia as well as from France, Hong Kong,
Switzerland, the UK and the USA.
highlight of the day was the presentation of medals celebrating their
participation in 20 Rock2Ramp swims to Alison Woodward, Jan Cheatley and Garry
new category this year was the Surf’n Turf which combined an entrants time in
the 1.2km swim with their time in the 8km Roo Run held by the Angelsea Motor
Yacht Club the previous evening. The inaugural winners were Rebecca Henderson
in the female event and 13 year old Lachlan Higgins in the male category.
