Patrols

Once qualified with your Lifesaving Star (minimum age 13) or Lifesaving Bronze (minimum age 15), each member has a minimum patrol obligation of 20 hours to fulfill each calendar year.

The patrolling season generally commences around the last weekend of November each year and concludes the following Easter Monday with patrols on Saturday afternoon, Sunday and public holidays.

Qualified members can choose to join our core patrol team Anglesea Surf Rescue (ASR) whose members are rostered onto specific patrols over the season. If not, it is the responsibility of individual members to identify and book in for patrols that suit their specific circumstances such as to ensure they meet their minimum patrol obligation. Total patrol numbers are generally limited to 20 members to ensure maximum efficiency.

Please remember to book in for patrols by the Thursday before as there is a limited number.  You can book on by sending an email to info@angleseaslsc.org.au or phoning 5263 1107.
