Welcome

The Anglesea SLSC was formed in 1952 and has established itself as one of the premier clubs in Australia with many club based awards including patrol fficiency and also having individual members win state and also national Lifesaver and Lifeguard of the year awards.

These awards complement the gold medals and numerous finalists at not just the Victorian and Australian Surf Life Saving Championships but also the World Championshps and demonstrate Anglesea's committment to not just lifesaving competition, but also to the professional approach it takes to providing frontline first aid and rescue services to the Anglesea Community and the development of members in this important area.

The ASLSC has over 1,811 members, the largest membership base of Victorian clubs and in addition to providing sport and recreation, skill development and offering frontline first aid and emergency services, Anglesea has proven to be an innovative and progressive club with many of it's initiatives being implemented at state and national levels.

The ASLSC clubhouse overlooks the main Anglesea beach and has one of the most spectacular views along the Great Ocean Road & Surf Coast. It houses the club's equipment and facilities, community gym and the Ray Marsh room from which the Club Café operates over the summer months offering a range of light meals and beverages.

The Ray Marsh room is an ideal venue for weddings, corporate conferences, conventions and other functions or events. If you are planning a wedding, conference, convention or other function for that special occassion, make sure you compare us against other venues.

Anglesea is home to the famous Rock2Ramp ocean swim, a major fundraiser for the ASLSC and is part of the Ocean Swim series. The swim is held annually at Point Roadknight and is open to the novice and serious competitor alike and further details can be found under the Rock 2 Ramp information page.
