Silver Camp

A Silver Camp is being run at Lorne starting on at 4.00pm Sunday 20th Sept to Friday 25th Sept.

It is live in and open to those members with:

  • a Bronze Medallion
  • who are over the age of 16

and it is an important stepping stone to becoming an Instructor, a Patrol Captain, or a Life Guard.

Candidates will offer training in the following courses:

  • Senior First Aid
  • Advanced Resuscitation
  • Defibrillation
  • Spinal Management
  • Basic Beach Management

It is being run jointly by people from Anglesea, Lorne and Fairhaven Lifesaving Clubs.

All people interested should look at the Website: www.regonline.com/silvercamp Registrations can also be made on that site.

Those people who cannot get along at that time, the courses will be offered at Anglesea over summer and potentially at another camp next Easter at Anglesea.
