The Long Wait is now over! The Bronze Camp web site www.bronzecamp.com.au is now up and open for business!

Just to recap for everyone. There are:

3 opportunities for Anglesea club members to do their  Bronze this summer:

• Pre Season Squad - October
• Bronze Camp, - December and
• January Bronze Squad – err January.

Plus, a new BronzePlus Camp aimed at people who completed their Bronze last year or the year before.

The details are:

The Pre Season Bronze Squad:

• Dates:
  • Sunday 11th October (10am-4pm)
  • Sunday 25th October (10am-4pm)
  • Sunday 1st November (10am-4pm)
  • Sunday 8th November (10am-4pm)
  • Sunday 15th November (Assessment)
• Targeted at competitors who need to qualify in order to compete, but open to any body over 15 years
• Cost: $149 per person
• Must be a club member
• Not Live in
• Conducted at the Club House
• Fill in the Pre season Bronze Squad application form found below and send to the club

The Bronze Camp

• Sat 12th Dec to Sat 19th Dec 2009
• Targeted at 15-16 year olds, open to anyone 15 years and over
• Live in at Camp Wilkin in Anglesea
• Conducted at the club
• Log into www.bronzecamp.com.au and register on line. Forms need to be printed off and sent with payment to the club.
• Numbers will be limited

The Bronze Plus Camp

• A new course  run in conjunction with Bronze Camp
• Live in at the club and Camp Wilkin in Noble Street Anglesea
• 12th Dec to 19th Dec 2009
• Targeted at people who did their Bronze last year or the year before and who want to :

i. Help on the Camp and learn about:

1. Water safety
2. Setting up a beach
3. Setting up training venues
4. Safe handling of food
5. Event Management

ii. Take a step to becoming an Instructor
iii. Catch up with friends from last year

• Numbers will be limited

The January Bronze Squad:

• Sat 3 Jan to Fri 8 Jan 2010, 9.00am  to 4.00pm
• Targeted at anybody over 15 years: nipper parents, late teens, people who could not get to the Camp, etc.
• Cost: $149 per person
• Must be a club member
• Not live in
• Held at the club house
• Fill in the January Bronze Squad application form found below and send to the club

Instructors:

• Please register for Bronze Camp on the web site
• Please contact the Chief instructors  anglesea.intructors@hotmail.com to ensure you have your Qualifications in place
• Get Qualified!
• Register your interest in instructing on other courses with the chief instructors
