Overview

Apart from gaining your Surf Rescue Certificate (at 13) and your Surf Lifesaving Bronze Medallion (at 15) as a pre-requisite to becoming a lifesaver, surf life saving offers opportunities to advance your skills in other areas.

Anglesea assist all members to gain extra awards in fields such as First Aid, Advanced Resuscitation, Communications, crewing and driving the Inflatable Rescue Boats. Many of these are vital skills in everyday life and are looked upon as added benefits by employers and community groups.

Further details area available under the Bronze Camp, Requalification or Training Courses tabs on this website or from the club's Chief Instructors.
