The Anglesea Beach team invites you to attend the "Legend of the Sand" Beach Clinic.
Legend of the sand, seven times Australian Flags Champion, Simon Harris of Northcliffe S.L.S.C will be working with the Anglesea Beach team at a specialist beach clinic.
The clinic will provide an opportunity for you to work with Simon, the Head Coach of the Anglesea Beach Team Peter Van Miltenburg and senior athletes of National level from the Anglesea S.L.S.C to develop your skills and knowledge in beach flags, beach sprints, beach relays and general fitness.

Registration Information To register, go to www.registernow.com.au then complete an application form along with your payment. You have until Friday 22nd January 2009 to register. Participants must be 11 years or over to participate. Max 60 people per session.

Peter Van Miltenburg 1978 Open Beach Sprint Champion 1984 Los Angeles Olympics: Australian 200m Champion World Cup Athletics Oceania Representative: Rome 1982, Canberra 1985 Life Member - Anglesea SLSC. Level four coach 2010 - 20th year as Anglesea Beach team coach, during his time he has coached athletes to over 50 medals at the Australian Surf Life Saving championships in Beach Sprints, Beach Flags, 2km Run and Beach Relays.
Hayley Atkins Hayley completed her bronze at Currumbin S.L.S.C Member of North Burleigh and Surfers Paradise S.L.S.C. 1999 – 2002 Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain National Surf League 2000 – 2002 Australian High Performance National Squad Joined Angelsea SLSC in 2006. 18 Australian Championships medals including 6 gold 4 World Championship medals including 1 gold Hayley works as Peter’s assistant coach of beach athletes in Geelong. Women’s Beach team captain Anglesea S.L.S.C 2009 – 2010. Level 1 Surf Life Saving
Lloyd Knight Anglesea S.L.S.C nipper before heading to Williamstown, coaching and competing for both the Beach team and the IRB Team. Level 2: Coach Athletics Returned to Anglesea in 2008. Third in the Beach Sprint at last years Victorian Championship. 2009 Victorian Representative Team Men’s Beach team captain at Anglesea SLSC in 2009 - 2010.
Abby Lewtas Abby has grown up at the Anglesea Surf Lifesaving Club. Started competing at the age of 11. 2000 – 2002 Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain National Surf League 2005 – 2007 Australian High Performance National Squad 2005 – 2006 Australian Winter Olympic Shadow Team - Bobsleigh 2006 Australian Lifesaving Team 10 Australian Championships medals including 2 gold 7 World Championship medals including 4 gold Beach Team Captain at Anglesea from 2002 – 2008.
