Grant Funding

The Anglesea SLSC has received a number of grants from Federal, State and Local Governments and also publically listed companies which provide much needed funding for specific projects or equipment purchases. Funding via grants from various sources is a vital augment to other fundraising activities undertaken by the ASLSC and we express our appreciation to the approving body.

Following is the source and purpose of each grant received :

Historically, the ASLSC has operated with 2 standalone PC's and it was recognised that this imposed significant risks around data security and business continuity in the case of fire, theft or equipment failure which could result in the loss of its financial and member records and impact on the services that the ASLSC provides to it's members and the broader community.

As part of the setup and implementation of an industry standard, offsite hosted IT network, the club has been able source some $8,000 in business software for a small outlay through a program to assist not for profit organisations operated by Donortec with support through donations from major software and hardware suppliers.

We sincerely appreciate the support of Donortec, Microsoft and Symantec for their generosity.
