Management

An Executive Board that consists of a President, two Club Captains and eight Directors manages the Anglesea SLSC. The Club Captains form the link between the general membership and the Board and are charged with ensuring that the Board is aware of, and responsive to, the requirements of the members.

Each Director is responsible for the effective management of their directorate in-line with overall club objectives. The eight areas are:

• Life Saving Services
• Development Services
• Junior Development
• Competition
• Facilities
• Marketing
• Finance
• Administration

Each area has a number of positions that report to the Director. Full Committee meetings are held monthly on the 4th Wednesday and Executive meetings are conducted as necessary throughout the year.

In 2003 a Junior Committee, with representatives from the 13 to 18 year old members has been formed with representatives attending the Club committee meetings.
